In this tutorial we’ll show you how to select the right WeatherAds plan for you. WeatherAds provides an easy and cost-effective way for brands and agencies to add weather triggers to their advertising campaigns across Paid Search, Display and Social. You can view our pricing plans here.
This article is for those of you who have already completed your 15-day free trial of WeatherAds and are ready to upgrade to one of the plans from within the app. If you haven’t yet signed up for your trial, please see our guide on ‘How to get started with WeatherAds’.
There are a few things to consider when choosing which plan best suits you. The main factor is your total monthly spend for the campaigns you wish to weather target.
The spend brackets are not rigid, meaning you can be on any plan you wish regardless of your spend levels. However, they are there as a guide to highlight which plan is the most cost-effective option for you to be on.
Let’s say you have 10 campaigns running across AdWords and Facebook. Out of those 10, there are 2 that you want to weather target.
Each one of those 2 campaigns has a monthly budget of $5,000.
This means your total monthly campaign budget is $10,000.
So in this example you would select the ‘Growth Plan’ at $99/ month + 1% monthly spend.
NOTE: You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from within the dashboard, so don’t worry if you aren’t sure exactly what your total monthly spend will be. An estimate is fine – you can always upgrade or downgrade to another plan.
Consider whether you would like a monthly plan or an annual plan. You can toggle between the monthly/ annual view using the blue button above the plans.
Monthly plans are rolling monthly contracts billed monthly, whereas annual plans are billed once for the whole year, but offer 10 months for the price of 12, so work out cheaper over the course of a year. Annual contracts are better suited to brands and agencies who will want to run weather based advertising campaigns year-round.
Also consider whether you will be requiring MCC/ Business Manager access, whether you ‘ll need the option to pay by invoice rather than credit card, whether you require multiple filters advanced weather elements, and what level of support you’d like – as all these factors will play a role in deciding the plan you will suit you best.
NOTE: Agencies and larger organizations managing multiple AdWords/ Facebook accounts are recommended the Growth Plan or higher. The Starter Plan is really for very small businesses and will not fit the requirements of a larger organization.
Paying by Credit Card
If you haven’t already done so, log into WeatherAds.
Hit the ‘Upgrade Plan’ button, and then select the plan you want. This can also be accessed via settings > account > billing details.
Enter your billing details and then press ‘submit details’
Paying by Invoice
If you select the Pro Plan or higher & you’d prefer to pay by invoice, simply contact us and we will send you a Heads of agreement contract and once this has been signed off we will make the account live for you our-end. For invoice payments - upgrading, downgrading and cancellation policy are the same as with credit card payments. For further information on these please read the Pricing FAQs.
